The project vision is to create an inviting meeting place that brings people together to share their enjoyment of green nature and cosy get-together. The goal is not only to beautify the urban environment, but also create a lively oasis that invites people to linger and relax.
Greening and revitalisation: transforming the car park into a green retreat aims to create a vibrant oasis that acts as a green lung for the city.

The Grätzloase is intended to provide a space to make new friends and promote understanding of the diverse realities of life in Vienna.
More plants and greenery in city centres: plants not only contribute to visual attractiveness, but also improve the urban climate and promote biodiversity.
Against the further spread of cars in residential areas: the project is an active statement against the increasing dominance of cars in residential areas. It promotes the sustainable use of public space and offers an alternative vision to the further sealing of areas by car parks.
